The Palm Beach County Cultural Defense Alliance brings together the leaders of cultural organizations and the creative sector of the Palm Beach County to discuss and act on mutually beneficial issues, projects, campaigns, and initiatives. Americans for the Arts
is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the arts and arts education.This committee is an extension of the Cultural Council's advocacy work, an integral part of the mission of a local artistic services agency, and also includes Council board members and representatives of other advocacy partners from across the county. The Business Development Board uses art and culture as a sales pitch for hiring and relocating companies. Art and culture contribute to quality of life, making The Palm Beaches stand out from other regions in Florida. With growth of 3.3 percent, Americans for the Arts serves, promotes, and leads the network of organizations and individuals that cultivate, promote, sustain, and support the arts in the United States.
