The Palm Beach County is a vibrant community that is fortunate to have a strong interest and support for the arts. With the promotion and success of LULA Lake Worth Arts, the livability of the city has improved, providing greater access to employment and prosperity for its citizens. The Palm Beach County Cultural Defense Alliance brings together the leaders of cultural organizations and the creative sector of the Palm Beach County to discuss and act on mutually beneficial issues, projects, campaigns, and initiatives. The Palm Beach County Cultural Council has made it a priority to harness the economic power of art and culture and put it to work to build a stronger infrastructure of cultural facilities, promote arts districts, and cultivate an increasingly strong artist community. Florida is among the five states with the fastest growing arts and culture labor markets in the nation.

This collaborative work will ensure that art and culture are relevant to the community, its leaders, and its citizens. The Cultural Council believes that art and culture in The Palm Beaches strengthen the economy and boost tourism; unite and engage communities; and improve education at all levels. The mission of LULA Lake Worth Arts is to unify the existing arts community around a shared vision, implement objectives to strengthen property value, improve access to the arts through educational programs, and invest in partnerships that support Lake Worth Beach's talent and creative community. The private sector has a long history of philanthropic support for arts and culture in The Palm Beaches.

is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the arts and arts education.

This committee is an extension of the Cultural Council's advocacy work, an integral part of the mission of a local artistic services agency, and also includes Council board members and representatives of other advocacy partners from across the county. The Business Development Board uses art and culture as a sales pitch for hiring and relocating companies. Art and culture contribute to quality of life, making The Palm Beaches stand out from other regions in Florida. With growth of 3.3 percent, Americans for the Arts serves, promotes, and leads the network of organizations and individuals that cultivate, promote, sustain, and support the arts in the United States. By harnessing this economic power, The Palm Beaches can build a stronger infrastructure of cultural facilities, promote arts districts, cultivate an increasingly strong artist community, strengthen the economy, boost tourism, unite communities, improve education at all levels, and create awareness about accessibility to live and work sustainably.
